There IS a silver lining in the clouds… (Today, anyway)

Today the skies cleared up a little bit, and I was walking around taking pictures. I heard a bird crow from afar and I turned to see it. This is what I saw. I just had to snap a picture! It’s so picturesque and calming and beautiful. If you know me, you know I love to make art. Whether I’m designing a business card, painting a canvas, or taking a photo, I put my heart and soul into the work I do. Lately, almost everything I have made has been a city scape or a metro or something of that nature. The reason being, I think, is that I am so eager to get out of this town. You see, I grew up here, I’ve lived here for 19 years now, and I absolutely HATE it here. Everyone is so close-minded and backwood redneck here. I wanna move to a big city, do big things, and this town is holding me back. However, after taking this picture today I realized something. It was almost as if it was a sign (for you superstitious bunch). I really think it was a statement from what ever God(s) you believe in that, no matter where you are or who you’re with, you can make it a positive experience. It’s not about finding the good in something, it’s about MAKING the good in something. Instead of hoping for something good to happen in your life, MAKE it happen. If you hate the town you live in, MAKE it fun. Think of something fun to do, or hang out with someone you really enjoy spending time with.

Well, that was my day. I’m gonna go get high now.

Peace little bitches,

-C

  1. It’s a beautiful photo. I love bare branches against a winter sky. You can find beauty anywhere, even if you can’t stand the people around it.

Good luck on finding a bigger city. I’ve been there, trust me.

Which isn’t particularly big, but has its good aspects.
